What is a good fishing magazine about overall fishing?
I am looking for a fishing magazine thats talks about both fresh and saltwater. Baits, rods, reels, just about everyhting. Don't want fish, or area specific neccesarilly.
There are numerous books out and about on the topics of fishing, but few among them concentrate on both fresh and saltwater fishing. You may be better off with two magazines (or even three) if you want to specialize on species like Walleye, Steelhead & Salmon, etc. For freshwater, I have never known a magazine better than Ron & Al Lindner's In/Fisherman (under new ownership). Steelhead & Salmon is another classic. Alaska Fishing is GREAT! Western Outdoors covers both, but adds hunting as well. The list goes on and on. Check your local book store for examples.

I know so many people that have purchased products or services online, that it's to many to count. Almost everyone in the world knows at least one person that uses the internet to make purchases, and that's being very conservative. So you can imagine the demand for online retailers, it's staggering.
It is said that online sales will be well over $100 billion this year, that's a lot of cash. So you can see the demand for online retailers, affiliate marketers, eBay, amazon, ect. With the economy in the tank, and more and more people are losing their jobs, this is one business that just keeps on growing year in and year out. Starting a business can be very scary, but it doesn't have to be. Just think of what interests you, and start there, because the more you know about something the easier it will be for you. One of my friends she likes purses, so she sells purses online, another sells shoes, and another sells fishing equipment, and they are all doing well because it's what they specialize in, and so can you.
Do a search online with something you have a passion about, or what you are good at, and click on that site, take a good look at the site, see if you like it, if you do, look at the bottom of the site, at the end of the page, sometimes they have a link like affiliate program, click on the link and see what they have to offer. Sometimes they are looking for people to help them, or they want to help other people start their own web site and sell their products, so take your time and choose wisely.
You may also find opportunities in your local newspaper, magazines, and bulletin boards, ect. When you find what you are looking for, search the name of the company online to see the reviews, this will tell you if the company is worth your time and effort. You can tell a lot about a company by their reviews. If you see to many bad reviews, well I don't have to tell you what you should do. Be careful of the if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is situation.
Once you find what you are looking for, and you have your site all set up, all you have to do now is to promote your site. This can be done several ways, ads on Google, writing articles, newspapers, magazines, bulletin boards, friends and family, social sites, ect.
